In the last few years technology has been improving more and more until it became as a strong relationship between everything in our life. The smart phones are one of the results of the technology revolution, and one of the topics which people differ about it's the most worrying trend and way it affects on thoughts, time and the life of young people.
As any topic there are many arguments which are either with or against, and there are many people who are against the idea of having smart phones from the start. To begin with, They says it costs a lot of money to get one. Besides that, spending lots of hours using it people could have some health problems and being addicted to the smart phones the person will be far from his family and he will not have a social life. Moreover, the last researches shows that using smart phones while driving causes accidents, and more than 18 percent of the accidents leads to death.
On the over hand, there are some encouraging things at the smart , for example: it makes everything easy and between our hands and it offers the easiest and the fastest way for communication as it could spread the news very smooth. Furthermore, many business men use the smart phones to control their business, while in the house the customer can by whatever he wants from any country in the world. Also it will be very easy to be used in such a way that you don't need anyone else to explain for you. As well as, it allows the user to learn lots of good new things.
To sum up, Smart phones as any type of technology it is suitable for some part of the society but it could be so dangerous in other parts. For that, in my opinion, government should have more control on using this invention, As families could but their kids in the safe side by putting some limited hours in using it.
People have different opinions about the internet. Some of people agree with having the internet and others are against having the internet connection at home.
One the one hand, people who agree with having internet think that it is a fast way to find information with a click of a mouse and in few seconds. Moreover, it keeps people connected together by chatting and E-mails, so they do not have to travel or spend lots of money for keeping in touch. In addition, internet is the best way for having fun. There are lots of games you can play and most of them educational. However, with internet you can make business and gain money ‘’ shopping sites’’ and you can advertise on the internet for free or at a low cost.
On the other hand, we can see that internet has negative effects on some people. To begin with, people could have some health problems spending lots of hours using it. Besides that, some people use internet to know other secrets by hacking. However, being addicted to the internet could make a person anti-social.
Last but not least, I think everything in the life have positive and negative sides, I personally think that best solution to be on the safe side, is using the internet for good reasons and make limits for hours spent in using it.
Capital punishment is one of the most controversial topics that is looked at from opposite views, some people consider the good side of the capital punishment while others are totally against it.
On the one hand, pro-capital punishment people say that it helps to reduce crimes and make safer and more peaceful society where every person can have a sense of security. Moreover, some people mentioned that everybody who commits a crime must pay for what he has done. This finally leads to justice which is a goal for each society. In addition, keeping a person in jail costs the government a fortune as it has to provide all the basic need for prisoners.
On the other hand, some people do not agree with that opinion and feel that there would be many disadvantages to giving death penalty because there would be less chance of integrating offenders into society after wards. As well as that, a recent study found that capital punishment is not fair because it is not applied equally to everyone. For example, the person is not considered guilty just because of his race.
All things considered, I believe that death penalty has its pros and cons. I am not with and not against it. In my opinion, I think that each crime should take the most appropriate punishment. I recommend that we should go back to our Islam because it has a solution to every problem we are facing.
Traffic jam is a major problem all around the world. And the reasons for the traffic are more than what we can imagine such as: the number of cars in Bahrain raised up to 85% and the timing of school and work are mostly the same which causes traffics in the morning.
One the one hand, we know that cars are bad for us, but we cannot live without it. It is used as a great facilitator in our life. Cars makes our movement from a place to another easier.
On the other hand, traffic jams has a lot of effects on our health. Traffic jam causes air pollution which is getting worse and it affects badly on our health. And it causes noise pollution. Also it causes a lot of accidents which is killing most of the youth in Bahrain. Therefore some people suggested giving the license after the age of 25 because people will get more responsible at that age.
People thing that there are some of the improvements that can be some solutions like: Building more bridges, building more highways and wide motorways.
In my opinion the traffic jams will be over if we all work together to solve this problem by using less cars or sharing it with others. It can be also solved by walking to close places and use cars only if it is necessary.
Crime is the one of the most important issues in our society. In the last few years, crime has been going up because of poverty and discrimination. The most common crimes in the society are burglary, murder and drug dealing. The most worrying trend is the increase of crimes amount young people. There are two opinions about crimes and punishments.
One of the reasons for this is possibly the fact that young people are not optimistic with the future and cannot see a model to follow. Also, unemployment had risen dramatically last year due to the global financial crisis. Another reason is the ineffective governmental plans.
On the one hand, many people feel that harder sentences should be brought back. Moreover, some people say that conditions in prisons are too soft and death penalty should be applied.
On the other hand, there are arguments against harder sentences and capital punishment. They disagree and think that prison should reform offenders. They should be brought back to normal life. Furthermore, they think that punishment should be suitable duel to the crime .
To sum up, I think that crimes has been risen sharply in our society in the last few years, And there should be some hard punishments to be applied in order to reduce this crimes or stop it, And the good way to do that is applying the true Islamic principles.
It is very well known that nothing is perfect. This means that everything in the world has got advantages and disadvantages and this applies to studying abroad.
On the one hand, studying abroad has lots of advantages. To begin with, studying in other countries teaches students how to speak English and languages better than others. Besides, it can help their country with the good education they have. Moreover, the studying abroad teaches students to be self-reliant and how to take decisions.
On the other hand, studying abroad is not all good news. In fact, some people cannot live without their family. So they will feel homesick. Furthermore, not all the families can send their children to study abroad because they might learn bad habits such as smoking and drugs. Last but not least, some people may feel free because there is no one to watch them so they became carless about their studies.
In my opinion, people views will always remain different about studying abroad. So, it all depends on our way of considering it.
Education is the power of the society, it is the base of the Tech improvements and it leads the countries to a better future. As Bahrain one of the first countries who provided education by offering free learning services in governments schools such as Alhidaya the first males school and Khadeeja the first female school. And also some private companies offers mixed school ,actually there are many opinions with or against putting their children in such mixed schools
Those who are against the mixed school think that females need special privacy for them, because they face fast body changing which can cause sensitive feelings and unstable moods .Also, they will not feel free in discussing their issues and also they will have to wear scarfs all the time. One of the reasons is that both gender are having different interest and ideas for example boys like sports and girls prefer fashion and makeup stuffs, also girls are more interested in studying than boys and they have different ways of learning.
On the other hand, those who agreed with mixed schools think that these schools will help the students to get used to the college life because it would be easier to deal with each other. Moreover, they believe that mixed schools will provide creative environment because both gender think differently so they will come up with better results and will reach their goals strongly.
After all, I believe that mixed education is a good choice if the students are grown up enough ,so probably mixed colleges are the best and the schools should stay separated.
Long time ago only the richer people had a television at home, whereas nowadays, everybody owns a TV. It has become an useful product which owns a lot of advantages but also some disadvantages.
On the positive side, it seems clear that with a TV at home we can realise the world’s news and know nice places through its screen. Furthermore, you can eat popcorn with your friends or family while you are watching a good film. Also, you can see new products that you might be interested in buying.
On the negative side, I think there are also some disadvantages. For example, some programmers show the people’s private life, so they become upset. But we also have to take into account that when a famous person attends a live interview or something like that, obtains a huge amount of money, whereas a person who spends all day working just earns to live. These are the main reasons why I do not like this kind of entertainment.
To sum up, I think TV can be useful but people should not depend on it so much.
Many people wonder about advertisement. Some people think that it has negative impact in our life. However, others said it has been playing as positive effect on this world. This is not an easy essay to be answered, but I will look at this issue.
Why advertisement has been playing a negative effect in our life? Of Course for several reasons: firstly, it motivates the psychological point in everyone, especially women. They will run to buy this advertised product especially if it is from cosmetic roof, just to show their beauty to men, which will lead to more offender and raped cases. Secondly, you can sit comfortably with your family and suddenly the telephone is ringing, but it is nothing important, it is just another company try to convince you to buy one of their products. It is a real intrusive example of advertisement. Lastly, sometimes you do not have the financial ability to buy something, but with these new methods of advertisement, you will run to buy it, which will affect your budget.
On the other hand, there are some good sides to advertising. For instance, it compares the prices of many companies which benefit the consumer. Besides, it really opens our vision to see more products which we do not know it unless the TV or Radio advertised them. In addition to, it breaks our daily routine and allows us to see new faces and learn the language better with the help of the daily updates they deliver through advertisement.
In conclusion, as we can see there are many aspects to this essay. I feel that we gain no benefits at all from advertisement, it plays on minds of people buy more things that they do not need it at all.
